Hi I have a Edimax AC 1200 adapter (EW-7822UAC). When I install the
package rtl8812au-dkms, it fails to build (kernel 4.8.0-37). On 16.04
this worked and my wifi was working, but after upgrade to 16.10, the

Has this been fixed in any of the newer linux-image packages? I,
unfortunately, can't offer to test since I was only seeing this on my
production database server... For now I've just frozen my kernel

Same here. Adding the line to /etc/hosts with the .local works. The printers
are automatically detected (as expected) and auto populate the printers. I did
not have to go to the cups web interface to add them. Without the .local, it
does not work.

If I understand this correctly, the issue is when coming from Trusty, a
file is now owned by two packages.
A user would obviously experience this on Xenial during upgrade when the
new version of libsane-common gets installed.
But then they might also experien

This is a deal breaker. One of the main reasons why I use Firefox rather

A clarification - this sort of issue will only occur when using the ZFS
dkms packages - zfs-dkms and spl-dkms. When using ubuntu kernel builds,
such as linux-image-4.8.0-34-generic, binary drivers are already
available in the linux-image-extra-4.8.0-34-generic.
