Hello, I upgraded with do-release-upgrade as well. My system is kind of
old (June 26th of 2011) with different updates since (not all in a row,
I skipped one or two).

via apt and made some changes to the source code. Specifically, near
line 567 of grub-core/disk/efi/efidisk.c, adding the status code to the

ram, probably unrelated. don't know about those libgl errors. I know

I found a solution in amd64.
First, add following line into debian/rules.
export DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_STRIP = -Wl,-Bsymbolic -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions
Next, build packages using debuild.
A result binaries work fine and that have correct default values.

I think it is possibly caused by steam. I can recreate the issue, cause
the lines to show in dmesg. By opening up Steam, load a game, then
quit the game, and then quit steam. Then the new error lines will be
there. As I said though it doesn't happen on 3.19 kernel.

This is correct behaviour. The X server window loses focus, not the X
app inside it.
Your app would lose focus correctly if Unity8 used Xmir properly with

1. Open Nautilus: Everything normal, hidden files are hidden.
2. In Nautilus press CTRL + H: Hidden files are shown.
3. Close Nautilus and open again: hidden files are back hidden.
4. Open Gedit;
5. In gedit try to open file. In the file chooser dialog, press ctrl + h.

When is this fix actually going to be present in vanilla Ubuntu 16.04? I
have been using the "sudo killall fwupd" method to get audio working but
it would be nice to not have to do that everytime I login or update
software or resume from sleep.

Hey,
I'm running Xubuntu 16.04 64-bit on an older HP Compaq dc7900 computer with a
Core 2 Duo E6500 2.33GHz Processor and the Intel Q45 Graphics chipset and I am
encountering the same problem. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 and Ctrl+Alt+F7 rectifies
