The version of gitg packaged for wily depends on libgit2-glib 0.22.x,
but the version in the gnome3-staging PPA is 0.23, which has an API
break. Either the PPA needs to downgrade (or remove) its
libgit2-glib-1.0-0 package or provide a version of gitg compatible with
the version of libgit2-glib it i

I'm not sure what you mean - it's the firmware hasn't changed, it's the
same version that appeared to have fixed the problem in the first place.

Sorry, the media.getArtUri() method doesn't apply to QML. It is provided
by the mediascanner API.
But that raises another question: we also have a Qt API. The doc for
that is provided by the thumbnailer-qt-doc package. Would it be worth
mentioning this somewhere?

I've encountered this issue twice today.
I had done a clean 15.10 install perhaps ~2 weeks ago and this is the first day
such an event occurred.
I too use Chrome, HOWEVER, I found it happened first when I was using Kodi 16.
I do see an update from my ASRock H97M-ITX/ac 1.70 in May to an August 1.
For a temporary workaround, run (as root):
dpkg -r account-plugin-google unity-scope-gdrive
This will remove the conflicting account-plugin-google package and the
unity-scope-gdrive package that depends on it (as trying to remove via
'apt-get' will fail)
Then, run (as root):
apt-get -f install
Here is a test kernel based on kernel v3.13.0-67 (Trusty).
Installation instructions:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eric-desrochers-z/lp1512815
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install
linux-image-3.13.0-67-generic=3.13.0-67.110hf85627v20151105b2
$ sudo apt-get install
