The latest Uubntu update from 6.27 fixes Metacity theme support but NOT
transparency. The "add-gtk-frame-extents-to-net-supported" is based on

So it started working (I noticed it yesterday evening) on my install, I
have Ubuntu 15.10 installed on a Dell notebook, when I minimize apps
with launcher hidden the icon pops out. But I also have Ubuntu 15.10
installed on my desktop in Virtualbox and did a live session with a
daily build where it

We have finished testing the Trusty kernel you posted at
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1445195/trusty, and confirmed
performance is better.

I just downloaded the vivid minimal CD and installed it under
VirtualBox. After installation with no packages selected I tried to
install network-manager (apt-get install network-manager) and that one
failed with the error described by others - PolicyKit1 problem.

You will need DEP-11 data for GNOME Software to function correctly (in theory,
AppInstall data is supported, but we didn't test a lot with it and it looks
rather disappointing). I am almost done with creating something reusable out of

The fact is that the bug is not in lyx, but in indicator-appmenu.
If you want, you can manually install the deb from wily (available at
http://packages.ubuntu.com/wily/indicator-appmenu) in vivid.
It should work flawlessly.
