everything points towards Defect Management which seems to
be extremely slow with the given drive and BD-R media.
It normally slows down writing by a factor of 2 or 3 but not
by 10 or 20.
So the option stream_recording=on of cdrskin and xorrecord
is worth a try with the next BD-R you burn.

Banshee interface unresponsive after upgrade to 15.04

1) I disconnected my speakers from the rear jack, and plugged my
headphones into the front jack. After rebooting, the headphones are
detected and the sound works - everything is perfect. I opened the Sound
Settings dialog, and "Headphones" are present, "Line Out" is absent.
2) I plugged my speaker
5) I suspend and resume the PC. The headphones stop working, and they
are gone from the sound settings GUI.

Could not reproduce this issue (you may need to select boot partition. BIOS
stopped when it did not found UEFI bootable partition)
Failing to boot by UEFI is a known issue.
Verify this by:
1. cp /EFI/ubuntu/*.efi /EFI/boot/
2. mv /EFI/boot/shimx64.efi

Thank you very much for looking into this, and I'll apologise for
having, at best, asymptotically approached the scientific method whilst
attempting to burn a set of back-up discs.
My first burn used the k3b GUI. I had to install the brandonsnider
cdrtools PPA, before it would even start writing
it should be the responsibility of the browser (pulseaudio client) to
assign diffferent name if the application using pa_stream_new to connect
the the server multiple time

Plasma 5 permenant corruption after file transfer

Firstly, I ran sudo dolphin, then transfered large folders. After transfer, I
closed dolphin.
Crash happen, after I opened dolphin normally, after what happened above.
Now, desktop is black except the default panel, which is completely white.

Original 14.04 Printer keyboard and mouse all work.
Original: 14.04->14.10->15.04 cannot get_string descriptor for HP1018.

Whats the status on this? Is there a GIT tree for patches or anything?
The problem went away for a long time and I recently had the bug hit
again. I'm wondering if it is a conflict with the video card. I'm
using an ATI Radeon Mobile (one of those embedded into the CPU things)
