I just updated my 14.04 install to 3.16.0-37-generic.
And although the occurrence of rendering issues seems to have reduced, they are
still there.
To reproduce easily, open up google earth, do some zooming around in there,
then start doing some alt-tab and moving windows around.

Nope. I upgraded from 14.04 -> 14.10 -> 15.04 incrementally. And I only
started having this issue in 15.04 from what I can remember. I'm not
sure if I experienced it in 14.10. I have to boot in recovery mode and
enter in my LUKS password there. I also heard that a few other people

Public bug reported:
As soon as I plug in an usb stick or usb drive of any kind my cpu load
goes up to 100% on each core same time (no matter if I mount it or not).
This cpu load takes up to 60 sec and then everything is fine again. If I
unplug the stick and switch in again the same happens again.
Can you please let me know in which way this is still incomplete?

Hello again
I've been asked to apply a patch to the source code of the kernel and
build it.
I'm afraid I haven't built a kernel before, so I would thank you if you
could help me.
I've installed kernel 4.0.0-04rc6.201503291935. I've jus attached
the patch they sent to me.
Tanks in advance
