Oh yeah, this works a million times better with firmware v9 on the
utopic kernel. The V8 firmware appears to be broken with my setup. Is
there any chance that the v9 firmware for the 7620 at
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi/ can be added to
linux-firmware?
Also, why isn't apport
It seems to work much better with firmware version 9 on the mainline
3.17.4. I don't see any of the firmware SW error messages. I will reboot
now and try the normal utopic kernel.

I've completely reinstall Ubuntu for fresh start with out sooo many
programs gluddering my system and re-installed the offical
Nvidia-331-update this surely seems to be fixed sorry for the mistake
that i thought was a bug or slow down of Ubuntu 14.04

I am on 14.04 LTS and using Gnome. I encountered severe and frequent
high CPU consumption caused by gnome-settings-daemon process. I then
deleted /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0/keyboard.gnome-settings-

Trying to fulfill your request led me to figure out what is happening,
and why it is my dumb mistake, no creepy, crawly bug here.
What I meant about "no passphrase" actually is, you need to fill it the
first time, then after that the passphrase is not asked for. This
latter was what freaked me ou
