Sorry, I should have been more clear in my previous comment. There was
no checkbox for third party drivers, but I did select a checkbox for
installing third party software, and that apparently also includes third
party drivers (although the user has no way of knowing this).

xrandr --rotate rotates only
geary/0.4.2-1 was only ever uploaded to Debian, not Ubuntu, and as such
d/changelog doesn't include it. This debdiff is exactly what you'd get
if you were to debdiff the .dsc that I uploaded to Debian sid, and a
.dsc that has the newly created changelog entry for the Ubuntu merge.

Creating a libx264-10bit.so library is really simple:
./configure --system-libx264 --enable-shared --bit-depth=10

However, VLC's configure script might only look for static libraries of
x264-10bit and x262, I haven't checked
Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 to 14.10. Slow switching between workspaces when
certain apps are running. So far seems when Firefox and Evolution are
running, switching between workspaces is very slow. Quit these apps and
things speed up. Don't experience same issue if I run Epiphany instead
of Firefox. S

hand at a fix is so that devstack can just install the qemu-kvm package
on any architecture to get enough qemu to make libvirt happy --
devstack/libvirt doesn't use the kvm wrapper script so I only did that

Thanks for quick response Chris. I just tested the latest upstream and
was able to reproduce the issue by simply closing the lid, wiating for
suspend and then reopening the lid. The system completely freezes and
hard reset is the only cure. Please, let me know if I can help with
