After resuming from sleep (suspend to ram), all external usb ports are
dead.
The laptop's built in keyboard and synaptic touch pad (I think it is
vonnected via internal usb, but not 100% sure) still work.
Only a complete power down and reboot seem to bring back the devices.

does this ever occur in precise or later?
There's been quite a few changes in scim recently, including the one
that likely introduced this bug, the change to multi-arch. I believe
the wrinkles in that have been ironed out so I ask you to please
reconfirm the problem still exists.

One day Ubuntu will be able to detect and automatically repair bad

See this thread, which sprung up on the Git list after I added support
for extra commit headers in Dulwich: http://git.661346.n2.nabble.com

The consensus among Git developers seems to be that defining new header
fields should be left up to
a fix was applied upstream around 2012. If you experience something
