Bundling a driver for ANY other hardware platform wont be relegated to a

box set up with a seperate home and / partition on the pre-existing

When I install new applications, an error message appears saying " installation
failed " and I think it happens because the program are not get mapped
correctly with the system. But with this also, application runs correctly.
This has happened when I upgraded to ubuntu 13.04
I can add an account on AMD64 using 2.5.5175-1 and on i386 using
2.5.5168-1 I can make and receive calls on i386. I'm still looking
into whether the AMD64 can actually receive calls, but that would be a
separate issue.

duplicate bugs reported since then, I presume this either was fixed (as
the comments two years ago suggest), or it was a one-time event on
upgrade to pre-12.04 releases and is no longer worth fixing. Closing

sldns_
The source package I think is the kernel update which I could not find
in the package list. When the kernel was updated about 50 to 200
packages were updated/downloaded as well so its hard to know the
specific package in this case. If anybody knows which package to select
for this please do so.

xfce4-xkb-plugin crashed with SIGSEGV in
xkb_util_normalize_group
I've been dealing with this issue as well. I'm on the 3.11.0-19-generic
kernel, nothing like adding Enable=Socket to /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf
worked, etc. I finally managed to get it working by following the steps
in the second answer in this entry by user165648 EXACTLY:

I didn't think these patches were interoperable among different kernel
versions? In other words, once dmraid is patched to use the new module,
it no longer will work on a system booted with any of the other precise
kernels.
