Every time my system goes through a hard shutdown (power outage, forced
reboot), my audio stops working on reboot. Usually I've been able to
resuscitate the audio by reinstalling all the audio drivers, as
suggested on the audio troubleshooting page for the Ubuntu community.

reported the problem persisted. For me, it is fixed since changing to
libreoffice 4, so I couldn't provide any additional information for debugging.
