I made a usb statup disk with the iso image and I didt have any of the
problems mentioned from the installation of 64 bit 13.04. However Just a
note if I didnt already mention, I also never got any of those problems
with the image using the startup USB of 64 bit 13.04. It actually worked
very well

EZ WORKAROUND .. for me anyways. Wanted to get 13.04 installed fresh
from live cd onto my w7 machine. tried to boot into the 13.04 live cd
