ubuntu11.04をインストールすると、gdmの設定ができなかった旨のエラーがでました。
ubuntu10.04の時にこのgdmエラーが出て、バージョンアップすると改善するかもしれないと思いubuntu10.10→ubuntu11.04とアップさせたのですが、ますます悪化したような気がします。
このエラーへの対策を求めてubuntu日本語フォーラムに投稿しているのですが、なかなか解答をいただけないので困っています。
ところで、私は日本語しかできませんのでよろしくお願いします。

Now I tried Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) Daily Build 2012-03-09 with
Kernel 3.2.0-18.
The bug still exists.
I have had the same bug with Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 and Beta 2.
The 11.10 Release then was OK and I use it without problems.

It turned out that I was running a non-ubuntu kernel. I'll close this
bug and open another one if I can reproduce the behaviour.
