I see zero chance of this package coming back. The package has been

I'm noticing this behavior after removing the repos Flash and manually
installing 64 bit Flash 11 from adobe's tar file. Also I'm forcing the
hardware acceleration on Flash itself. Looks like the flash window might
by causing issues with the context menu window.

1. Enable the Resize Info plugin in CCSM.
2. Open a terminal and resize it. Make sure the resize info appears.
3. Now middle-click on the terminal's maximize button to make it vertically
(but not horizontally) maximized.
4. Resize the terminal again (left or right)
I can confirm that this is present in the final release. Just happened
to me today, with a 64-bit alternate image that I just downloaded. I was
able to complete the install fine if I did not select Ubuntu desktop.

It is not a compiz/unity/lightdm bug. The only constant so far in reproducing
this error is an opengl based desktop environment.
I tested lightdm/gdm/unity/gnome 3/awesome/unity 2d.

I think it's likely the root cause of this bug in the kernel is the same
as bug 865097. Both result in the monitor going to sleep when it
shouldn't and both are fixed by using kernel 3.1.
