I tested the USB 3.0 and the SD Card in the linux 3.0 kernel as
promised. The USB 3.0 is working just fine (or it looks like), I haven't
tested the transmitions speed but at least is working like an USB 2.0
and there's no more freezes.

A quick test seems to indicate that updating to
libcurl3-gnutls=7.21.3-1ubuntu1.3 fixes my problems with landscape-
client, bzr and apt-transport-https. I'll leave landscape-client running
for some 24h and check the logs to make sure.
