Hey, I think you have to use the "Page Setup" or "Print Setup" option from
the File menu. It's an old bug; the page setup in the print dialog doesn't
work, only the one in the file menu does.

The root user HAS a trash folder (at /root/.local/share/Trash), with the

whether just reinstalling the GDM 3.0 package would have fixed it as
well.

This also affects me. I'm using the GNOME 3 PPA with the NVIDIA binary
driver, and a system update around the same time also broke GDM.
For the record, X seems to work fine when launched from the command line
(and I run, for example, xterm), but GDM still does not show up.

this is an extremely annoying bug. Still occurring on 11.04! My home partition
is running low so I moved my ~/Photos folder
to another partition and created a link from ~/Photos to the new location on
the other partition. Now this bug hits me.

I think the problem is related to how the drive is recognized. In Ubuntu Natty,
nautilus recognizes U3 drives as "software" and freezes all system trying to
open it. I suggest that the U3 software is not recognized and just is treated
as a single USB Flash as it makes the w

Ubuntu crashed with classic desktop as well!
Just to try, I closed the laptop lid, and removed my wired lan
connection.
This morning as I opened the lid, the screen was hung.
Mouse worked, but screen was stuck with the LAN connection shown as
