Binary package hint: bash-completion
In connection with the slimming down of shipped changelog files, new
functionality was added to apt version 0.8.9ubuntu2:
apt-get changelog apt | grep 'apt-get changelog'
ideally bash-completions should allow tab completion for the new

Also, this headset used to work in previous versions (10.04, 9.10). I
had to go through a process in Sound Preferences to do so, namely just
selecting the device which wasn't a big deal. Sometimes for the mic to
work, it required a reboot. It would be nice if Sound Preferences
automatically switche

I see how it's natural to want to do this. The one gotcha for me is that
the panel is also hosting the menu of the app which is in the
foreground. So it's arguably as much part of that app, as the top
maximised one.
