which generated an automatic bug report to community.
machine: Toshiba L500 i3 4G Ram 500 GB HDD, W7 home
I have used the disc on numerous OLDER machines flawlessly.

I have the same issue, but I created the usb stick on one desktop with
Ubuntu 10.10, and I cannot boot it on my other desktop. Stick boots
fine on the originating pc. When booting on the victim pc, I get the
message "Boot error". No prompt.

I am running Ubuntu 10.10, linux 2.6.37-12 and tonight(2/15/2011) I
updated via Update Manager. This update contained the packages to
introduce a new linux image 2.6.38. Upon completing the update, I was
asked to restart to complete the installation.

I upgraded from libdbi0_0.8.3-0ubuntu1 to libdbi0_0.8.3-0ubuntu1.1 on Ubuntu
10.10 i386 and the "make check" script now returns the expected values (i.e.
non-zero doubles). Moreover, Gnucash 2.4.2 which now looks the error and
had been exiting with a pop-up error

I found someone on ubuntu forums that has a workaround for this issue,
it worked for me. I removed telepathy-butterfly via synaptic, reloaded
empathy, and removed and re-added my MSN account. Issue resolved. I'm
not sure what telepathy-butterfly does, but I only use empathy for basic
chatting and t
I've try install again, but it's the same result. Only different now was
that Ctrl + F10 didn’t work but Ctrl + F1 did.
