I don't quite understand. The indicator doesn't show active layout at
all, no text like US, UK, RU or similar, no flags, it doesn't work at
all. Is it not a bug?

I also have the problem with inkscape in Kubuntu 10.10 when I use a
custom icon theme. When I use Oxygen as icon theme inkscape starts fine.
Very strange, because the used custom icon theme does inherit oxygen
(among others, not in first place), so it shouldn't be any difference
...

Since upgrade to maverick, 5.1 surround sund no longer works. I've
reinstalled pulseaudio multiple times in a hope that would solve the
problem. Everything i've tried has failed (including everything

it's probably just a coincidence then, I just realized that I've had a
couple of virtual boxes running in the background for the past couple of
days, maybe vmware workstation is not letting power management to kick
in on the wlan interface hence the transfer rates have been quite good.

Thanks, the patch works on my Dell Precision M6400. Was having the same
behavior as the above M6500 users. This bug needs to be fixed upstream

It seems that the correct configuration (not sure what changed it) on dv4 is as
follows:
1. Hardware --> Internal Audio, Settings for the selected device: "Analog
Stereo DUPLEX"
2. Input --> Internal Audio Analog Stereo, connector: Microphone
3. Output --> Internal Audio Ana

After updating the latest updates, on 06 nov 2010, on my netbook UNE 10.10
keeps rebooting for no reasons !!! the concerned updates were about CUPS !!!
A help here would be nice or otherwise I have to reinstall UNE for the
second time

Bug #671988 has been marked as a duplicate of this one. This bug makes
songs disappear from Squeezebox when their ID3 tags are edited. I have
updated the bug title accordingly.
Should the priority of this bug reconsidered? Maybe wishlist is too low
a priority.

It appears that the 'output' was set to the Radeon HD4200 device),
whereas it needed to be set to the "Internal audio Analog Stereo"
device.
Input device (Mic) still missing, and the diagnostic ubuntu-bug audio
still reports as bug. At least sounds comes out of the speakers
though...

I have a Dell Inspiron 15, using Maverick. I have kubuntu installed. When I
use usb-creator-kde I get an error 'Failed to install bootloader'. I try
unetbootin and when I boot from the usb drive no operating system is found.
Both used to work in Lucid. I found that for
/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
