I get the 100% CPU used by ntop too. Dunno in which conditions, but happened

The sound on the system randomly goes off either mid-stream in a video

I just followed David Henningsson's advice as to how to report this bug

My battery back up is poor when compared to Win 7 boot.
Also, the laptop seems to get much hotter. Especially when using more resources

I have an Inspiron 700m which uses the Intel 855 graphical chip.
Whenever I start the computer, the mouse pointer is invisible. I know
the pointer is there because I can still click things if I get the
pointer to the right locations. (By the way, this bug is exactly the

In fact, even clicking on a single link just opened about 30 of those
tasks... only they don't even show up in the ps-list?

Never had that issue before, but since the distro-upgrade to Meerkat two
days ago, Konqueror launches dozens(!) of these windows whenever I open
a new tab! And it takes 10-20 sec. to then load that window's content
and for the task bar notifications to disappear.
Something has changed considerably

same problem here, i cannot believe that nobody knows anything
so dont be surprise when u see people using windows,
why ? cause it works

I've moved the pointer into the xev window, pressed physical buttons 1,
2, and 3 and then quit with Alt+F4.

I have found out that the middle button works fine when booted on the old
kernel from lucid (2.6.32-25-generic) and maverick userland...
