This may be a side effect of the new apt 0.8 in ubuntu 10.10. It has
basic multiarch support now and can grow the cache dynamically and this
feature makes it a bit slower. However it should be more in the 10-20%

When KPackageKit can't connect to a certain repository, it displays an
error message which is nice. But the error states that I have a legacy
package manager active and lock could not be acquired. False! See the
screenshot!

the program and import a clip, but then it won't let me push the split

one as well. And because of these errors Im not able to install the

This exact issue is happening to me. New drive (Samsung HD203WI) in an
external USB case (Eagle Consus). Fresh install of Lucid x64 on a re-
purposed Dell desktop.
Experiencing intermittent USB drive disconnects during sustained
transfer of files from another local machine via rsync/ssh.

This affects me too on a Lenovo X200. Syslog when failing to suspend is
attached.
Notes:
- I suspended at 06:47, which failed, so I powered off.
- I powered back on 7:56. Looks like the suspend tried to continue at that
point.
