I've installed the test package, and so far I've seen no more crashes.
Sadly, I've not been able to reproduce reliably even before installing

Actually, this is not exactly fixed yet, as this manual additiol will
always be needed, unless a driver code update is made. That code change
is what I am about to do, so this won't actually be fixed until a new

the previous line which seemed contradictory therefore the last two
lines of my alsa-base.conf now read:

I could not see my name listed on the login screen. The restart/shutdown
