I think Nicolas Valcarcel found the problem and is preparing a patch. He
found that the problem is with network devices with a too long name,
that causes the overflow, tha't why it only happens with the wifi
connected.

This issue affects Lucid on G3 iMacs too.
Installing Kenneth Finnegan's yaboot binary from comment #18 to the TFTP
server solves the issue. Both vmlinuz and initrd load, and the kernel
starts. Sizes are:

Okay, FWIW I must sheepishly report that I did find a workaround for
OpenMedSpel, at least. Changing my language (Tools-->Languages-->All
Text) from English, American to English, Canadian allows me to use the
Canadian dictionary and OpenMedSpel dictionary at the same time. So far
it appears to be w
I thought totem was only supposed to inhibit the screensaver on full-
screen. Windowed mode implicitly means you want to see something other
than the window... among which I'd count notifications.

GDM does not detect a change to the default keyboard layout automaticl
I guess a seperate bug report would be better. I have tap click + edge
scroll. Two finger scrolling, two finger tap right click, three finger
tap middle click or double tab at the top left corner to disable the
touchpad never worked.

I've removed the OOo 3.2 that comes with Lucid.
I downloaded the deb version from the OpenOffice.org website -
