(0.8.0~-10ubuntu1) was installed during the upgrade process. Upgrade was
performed using 'do-release-upgrade -d'.

So, two weeks have gone by, and not only has the problem not corrected
itself, but also, amazingly, not one other person on the entire planet
can even post a simple "hello" within this thread. I have to say, it's
getting to be pretty puzzling.

No longer repros on Karmic 2.6.31-20-generic from proposed (but don't
know about 2.6.31-17-generic from updates since it doesn't support my
wi-fi card so I've been running proposed). But original bug was against
2.6.31-10-generic so this is likely fixed before -17.
Also no problem on lucid 2.6.32-

The kernel does'nt acess any of /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf /etc/mdadm.conf
/etc/default/mdadm nowadays.
What worries me is that nobody seems to have cared about this package the last

Since this affect the Spanish version of Ubuntu, I found a fix that
works. The information is in Spanish, but the solution is just copy and

Just want to register my agreement with those who think this a major usability
issue.
While the right click - resize method is a work around, it is one that the
