into the machine for this to happen. A day or two of uptime will

Ahh, you are right. I had gotten used to using the recovery mode kernel
instances in grub, but when I do the non-recovery mode (with splash), it
does work, but as I noted in my first message, I always have to type my
password 3 times. It's as if the first 2 times don't get to cryptsetup
properly.

Karmic 9.10 x64 (2.6.31-17-generic) - Asus K7I0C is also effected by
this. Touchpad "works", but is identified wrong, thus i dont get any
touchpad special options, such as "delay while type" which is HUGELY
useful. The Asus EEEpc works, which uses the same hardware, but
obviously a device ID chan
Now that tracker seems to be working, after reboot I seem to have
#458995. So far have disabled tracker startup; I'll just run it manually
for awhile and see how it goes ...

I have the same hardware, kernel, & software versions...

Other thoughts:
Suspend/Hibernate should be one of those things that "just works" by
now, dont you think?

In lucid, using the new indicator menus, the "Quit" menu item is right
below the "Show Rhythmbox" item.
As the "Show" item is the only way to display a "hidden" rhythmbox, I
use it often. I also /miss/ often, so I have to restart rb a lot.

Ok I got it to happen again.
- Hibernated
- Waked up.
- After some work with Netbeans IDE saved my files into DropBox folder.
- Opened UbuntuOne folder
- Copied the same folder I saved in DropBox folder
