The problem at startup is not the "three times". This I could change by

OpenAFS 1.4.9 doesn’t support kernel 2.6.30. OpenAFS 1.4.11 in Karmic

It is Nautilus that I suspect, but I couldn't find where it writes logs
to. Do you need some additional info from me? This bug is very annoying
