while running Compiz. I have never observed the issue when running

I'm seeing exactly the same symptoms on regular (non-K) Ubuntu, only I'd
just partitioned the disk using gparted (and fdisk, to fix the partition
order). Also, I've got Windows XP running on an NTFS partition (which
I'd just resized). I can attach those logs if it'd help.

If I use playbin it seems to work much more reliably, failing about one
time in 20 for me. However if I choose a chapter instead of the DVD
default it seems to be as unreliable as playbin2. Perhaps some IO delay
in starting is causing it to get behind and never catch up?

The problem is that mplayer's localisation is only working at compile
time. If comment #11 was implemented, mplayer wasn't able to print
messages in english any more.
We'd really need someone to convert mplayer's localisation system to
gettext. Any volunteers please get in touch with me privately.

checked today - digital output is unaffected - before I had to turn volume up
in Alsa mixer but now works with panel volume control.
Tvtime, which outputs through analog, is affected.
The line in volume can be increased through Tvtime interface, but I have to

I can confirm this behavior on Kubuntu Karmic 9.10. Installed around
Alpha 2 and been updating. Only noticed it today. Can't verify whether
it was package upgrade or installation of new font (http://www.ms-
studio.com/FontSales/anonymouspro.html) that caused it. Removing the
font doesn't seem to he

That's an internal compiler error in gcc. Chances are slim to one it will
get fixed this release, but it should be investigated.

After every wakeup from suspend it shows this bug... probably something
with audio... but I think audio is working OK... maybe I dont realise
something...
Its Lenovo SL500 with Intel 4500MHD graphics card, that is working
incredibly in this Ubuntu 9.10 BETA :-)

Never mind. I was able to modify the keyboard mappings and correct the
issue. A few keys do not work, but its probably due to a lack of an
appropriate map for this version.
