I would also like to note that other LVM-only filesystem (/misc) does
not get mounted sometime, but I am not sure if this is just side-effect
of /home failure (depends on timing of mount commands executed and when
I am adding lvm2 task, as it seems dm-crypt gets properly setup, but LVM

Karmic Alpha 4 release does not have the SDHCI drivers in the
initram. SD card supported BIOS cannot boot the ubuntu without
customizing the initrd.img . But it is possible to install the OS on

Alright, not exactly sure what's going on, but if it is blanking before
the splash screen and comes back when gdm's login screen draws, then the
failure is occurring prior to X starting up, so it is not an X.org
issue. Refiling to usplash, although it might be a kernel bug, not
sure...
