So this error does not show up any more.
But thunderbird uis still buggy, cannot get along with attached messages and
needs to be fixed.

I can confirm that this bug is actually a configuration issue with many
GPUs and the newer drivers in Ubuntu 8.10+. This is not a code bug and
with the upcoming release of MythTV .22 I have tested DVD playback with

You can still mount USB drives, but they won't be mounted automaticly in
the background, because that might interfere with how GParted (or any
disk partitioning tool) works.
Currently, if you want to see a USB drive that you inserted after
starting GParted, you can choose the GParted -> Refresh

I downloaded the GE installer and also installed lib32nss-mdns as showed in
this how to ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GoogleEarth ) and did this in
terminal to fix the message error but didn't worked at all...
1- Installed GE from the installer
2- sudo apt-get install lib32nss-mdns
3- did :

really knowing what I was doing, because of a bug in an upgrade that
left me without a gui. Eventually I figured out how to use the tar.gz,
diff, and dsc packages on Launchpad, but I am not sure if I fudged

My guess is that the all-in-one printer provides an USB mass-storage
device interface for storing scans (I know some do, don't know about
yours) and something is going wrong there...
Maybe you can attach the last lines of dmesg after you plug the printer
into an USB port? (If you don't know what
