Hi,
isn't the title "Print to File" too geeky? Non-technical user would probably
prefer "Save file as PDF". Why? Because saving file is what he/she is doing. If
saving file process goes in some kind of printing file phase user should not be
bothered with it. I suggest to use "Save file as PDF" o

This was originally about poor sound/volum
I can confirm that the bug can be resolved by set the default python
version from 2.5 to 2.6. However , there has applications that are not
compatible with python 2.6 (e.g Google App Engine SDK). I think it need
to rebuild the usb-creator package for python 2.5

You almost got the syntax right with dmesg. Plug the drive in and in a
terminal, execute:
$ dmesg | tail
This should show you the last few lines of dmesg. Can you post the
output of that?

a little closer now, but still stuck.
Here's what I tried in the terminal:

Each of those returned; 'Command not found', or 'location unkno

I am not able to browse for printer shares exposed by a windows machine
at my mother-in-law's house. I can type the name in manually, but
browsing causes a crash of system-config-printer. This is an up-to-date
32-bit i686 hardy laptop with wireless-only connectivity.
Method:
Suspend to RAM is working fine with my T400 (configuration details on
my previous post). Haven't tried suspend to disk yet.
