I have problem with language priority in Gnome. Some programs which are not
translated to Slovak language, but they are translated to Czech language still
start in English. I have installed full Slovak and Czech language.

It's been ongoing since the original report. After every +- 30 minutes

way? Synaptics driver completely ignore all settings from HAL. That is
what bug report about.
I suppose, these bug reports should be marked as 'wontfix', as HAL is
deprecated now and will be discarded from 9.10.

I was messing around with remote desktop before it happened.
I tried changing "Disable the wallpaper when connected" which worked fine. But
once I rebooted, I could no longer get a wallpaper at all except for about 1.5
seconds during the login phase.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately a paper cut
should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is quick
and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of this
project.

I'm still seeing this, as of latest updates on 9.04. Just asked
Nautilus to expand a 650 file directory in the same window, in list
(tree?) view. The content display drew after about 75 seconds, but

Have a HP 2700 laptop with the same specs and ubuntu 9.04, and I also cannot
play any audio over the HDMI.
I've done all the howto's, checking 598 stuff in the sound mixer, etc.
Something is broke but I also don't know if it's alsa or the nvidia drivers .

Can you please try installing the linux-backports-modules-jaunty
package. The linux-backports-modules-jaunty package contains and
updated compat-wireless stack which may help. Be sure to reboot after
installing this package in order to test. Please let us know your
