I have checked with Windows XP and KDE and neither have this issue; when
right clicking, nothing is automatically highlighted and ready for
selection. So I believe this to be a gnome specific issue which does
not provide any benefit to the end user, but can be an annoyance. It is

I have a similar problem.
Hardware is a new Dell Vostro 1520 with Broadcom 4312 wireless card.
9.04 installed and the wireless network connection worked fine. It was using
the wl driver.
I did an update and now the wireless is disabled in Network Manager. Right
clicking Network Manager shows

Maxime, no, my message was to the original reporter of this bug. It
appears you have "me-too'ed" onto this person's bug, but since you don't
have the same hardware, you may have an unrelated bug that you should be
reporting separately.

RV630 as fixed, so I'll bet they found and fixed the bug causing this
issue. Will look forward to hearing your test results, and we can close
this bug when I upload the driver to karmic.

Only I leave my laptop on - the screen saver comes up. After 30 mins,
it goes to sleep. It seems that after it goes to sleep - I'm not sure
