KDE and Windows have at least two profiles. One for battery and one for ac. If
I want to shutdown the display after one minute in Gnome it is not possible. If
I set the screensaver to one minute shuting down the display is possible after
two minutes but at the same time my screen gets locked aft

I am also using Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 and noticing this problem.
So far, the easiest fix I found was to run metacity --replace on the server
machine.
This kills the compiz window manager and replaces it with me
will try on the latest daily live cd...

8.04.2 on Vmware ESX 3.5.
The problem happened randomly twice a day or even more on all cloned servers.

After upgrading to 2.27.3. The tray icon has become an envelope, without
any options to change status or close the application.
This would be okay.. IF the Fast User Switch Applet could do all the
functions that the previous tray icon provided. O
I find the window's rename mode to be more of an issue when using a
laptop with touchpad rather than a mouse On a small netbook or a
smaller laptop, it would be even more irritating. Not everyone sits on
a desk using a mouse.

Binary package hint: empathy
If I press X(Close window) and then end the program with 'killall
empathy' and start it again there is no indication that the program is
running. The only way ti show it is through indicator-applet. And where
is it's tray icon? Is this a bug or a
I changed a few small things:
- reverted the Standards-Version change: it's no use updating it over a Debian
version of the package - it has no impact and we don't maintain the package
directly
- updated the changelog to reflect what happened to the patches

ABBYY FineReader 7 won't save to multip
Wine will recommend the ttf-mscorefonts-installer package (and thus
install it by default).
We already recommend ttf-liberation, and Wine itself ships tahoma and
symbol, however these fonts combined aren't enough as you've noticed.
