It opened the same DVD ISO file (after "flashing" on and off a few

NVIDIA config doesn't detect my Samsung SyncMaster 930B LCD monitor.
It comes up as unknown as a CRT.
I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 6200 graphics adapter card.
lspci | grep -i nvidia returns:
1:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia C
The package is ready and on its way to revu for review. But it seems
that it gets stuck - talking to nhandler on #ubuntu-motu for resolving
this.
Will update the bugreport with revu link as soon as it has arrived
there.

After playing a movie in VLC, and exiting VLC, I can no longer suspend my
computer. I select suspend through System->Shut down...->Suspend and I get a
popup saying:
Request to hibernate
Multiple applications have stopped the hibernate from taking place.

I'm getting this all the time. It happened in Kubuntu 8.10, and still
happens in 9.04. I'm using an NVidia video card with proprietary drivers
version 180.
Usually, X freezes while I'm debugging another application. Perhaps that
application gets stopped in the middle of a request to the X server.
