I fixed my problem... it seemed that the wireless inside my MacMini got
disabled somehow... really not sure how that could happen. Anyways I
turned off the MacMini completely and waited for 5-10min then turned it
back. Now wireless works as before...

Ok, first: I installed a fresh one, i don't like dist-upgrades ;-)
The dongles used are a Lutec micro and a Lindy standard, so that it can't be
"hardware-specific".

This bug was fixed by adding this line in /usr/bin/compiz:
T="$T 8086:3577 8086:2562" # Intel 830MG, 845G (LP: #259385)"
This tells to not allow compiz to run on intel 845 and 830 chipsets.
(use metacity instead I thinks).

For me it compiled out-of-the-box. All you need is the package
libncurses5-dev, which contains the missing curses.h.

Apologies, I should have added that I'm running Jaunty-beta with all
current updates, and the suggested workaround seems to resolve the
issue.

I was having the same problem and followed followed the workaround in
183514. I moved /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent out of the way and ssh-
agent seems to continue to respond as it should.

I'm using Kubuntu Jaunty.
VPN connections doesn't work and has multiple problems:
1) "Network connections" dialog box forgets the "gateway" and other settings
when you close it.
2) "Only use VPN Connection for these addresses" doesn't let you enter the
addresses.
