Its a Windows 2000 SP 4 running UltraVNC Version 1.02. I also tried Version
1.0.5.3, no difference.

I can confirm the client-side corruption problem with krfb in kubuntu
jaunty. I installed vino and ran it just with /usr/lib/vino/vino-
server, and it worked just fine. x11vnc also worked fine.

I ended up doing a fresh beta install on that laptop, switching from

I have a brand new laptop (HP Pavillion DV5) with a brand new Intrepid
installation. I can reproduce this at will whenever I launch emacs - the
control key appears stuck, and even after exiting emacs it is stuck for
a short while. It also seems to randomly get stuck when I'm not using
emacs.
Pleas
Jaunty would really have benefit if this bug is fixed in time. Also, Bug
352852 needs this to be fixed. Ubuntu sponsors for main : any thoughts
on this?

Chris - My bad, I didn't realize that that was how notify-osd alerts
worked.
If that's the case, then there's no way we can have messages appearing
under notify-osd, unless the fallback alerts are beautified
significantly, since at current, they're quite uninspiring...
Either that, or use notify-

This time all of the hibernate tests succeeded, so I have attached the
data. Last time the disk test would fail (delayed kernel panic) every
time so I have logs from before and after since I was paranoid. Sorry
