I have a K8V-X SE and although I do not use the "fglrx" driver I know
there is a kernel issue with these boards that messes up AGP and DRI.

Oops, I think I found another bug.
When I set the resolution of 640x480 and then set back the 1024x768, the gnome
menus won't come back to their place.
The only way I could find to get the menus back to their right position is
setting the higher resolution available (1360x768 here) and then setti

After the appearance of ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex, I retried to solve
the problem with the hdd's. Both of them are seemingly irreparable.
I cannot work with it or format the devices and I think that settles the

I also noticed that the evince window no longer is raised to front when
