Bug 243451 is said to be fixed (the packages are built for all
architectures except ia64). That means that a new version of x264 is

This system started out as a standard Ubuntu 8.04RC system which has
since been upgraded to 8.10. So the packages I have installed are the
standard 'ubuntu-desktop' packages. I checked and I do not in fact have
the 'openoffice.org' package installed -- it seems that the standard
system do
Same problem with crossfading. Tryed every combination of settings
possible with fadeout, and crossfading. Turning fadeout off made no
difforence in the problem. Turning crossfading off eliminated the
problem. Tested on random playlists and ones that I put together myself.
Checked with over 2500 so
I studied the patch a bit more closely and am unconvinced that it by
itself is guaranteed to solve this issue. Like mdz pointed out, in this
case mk is null, not master.
This patch should handle this case, although it leaves open the question

Hi,
I succeed in getting a picture with that picture. The only manual thing
I did is that hugin haven't been able to connect group 0,1,2,3, 6 and 7
with group 4,5. I then manually create matching point between 3 and 4,
optimize everything and voila.
I've just seen in your backtrace that your are
OK it freezes sistem if I right click on desktop and add widgt, If I add it
from the inferior panel appear well, but everytime I restart disappear (as
resloution choosed) and must to be created again. I gonna update now for if it
has been fixed and Dolphin crashes.

I believe the nautilus delay is due to libcanberra (bug #276072). If
you remove libcanberra0 from your system nautilus will start and restart
immediately.

Looking at the changelog in

, I believe it version 1.14.17 that broke debuild.
Not including some binaries in the sources is IMO a good choice, but we should
at least have a way to tell dpkg-source to include
I just installed the intel driver avaible on the backports repositories
and now looks everything is better. Before the update I got 370 FPS on
glxgears and now I'm getting something aroung 700FPS

Nice to have for Jaunty. This delays my login twice: 10s for nautilus
and another 10s for the volume control applet. Total login time with
the cache warmed up is 42 seconds. Under Hardy it's 1 second.

Pulled down a new acpi and kernel this evening (via Update Manager) and
the problem is fixed. sonybright.sh now functions correctly again (maybe
previous bad update was reverted). Panel brightness applet still doesn't
work (but never has in Intrepid. Thanks to whoever took care of this.
