I have also seen this problem, but is appears to be a problem with the
xserver rather than the font. It is not getting triggered on other
machines I have running Hardy. Can you also report which xserver is
being used?

I just build up a new computer. I currently have a fresh Hardy (8.04)
on it. Just installed from CD, then got all the updates.
I can suspend (suspend-to-ram, S3) the computer fine. Problem is that I
can't get it to resume. I hit a button and the fans come on, things
start
This bug is still not fixed in Seamonkey 1.1.12
When attempting to install the spellcheck English-US
dictionary (through) the add ons website,
I get an unexpected -211 error.
Tried installing as root -- still no joy.

FYI, they're working for me.
To get it working:
1) I installed the *pkg1.run file from that site
2) Screen resolution applet in the preferences menu was only allowing
resolutions up to 1600x1200 so I edited xorg.conf and added "1920x1200" to the
Modes section of the Screen section.
3) I enabled

A lot of phones actually have to be in a "receiving" mode to receive
files. Does yours have such a mode possibly? Is this a regression from
intrepid or hardy?

After some incubation time, it seems that the system is stable as long
as compiz was removed and that desktop effects were disabled. As soon
