I have a friend with a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7422 laptop. When he
heard that Ibex uses the 2.6.27 kernel with inherent support for his
rtl8187b wireless card he decided to agree to install Ibex. It installed
great and it sees his wireless card. We are also able to see wirele

This is truly a bug, I agree with the comment above that the desired
behavior of Zenity is to steal focus and demand user interaction.
Either this should be configurable as a command line argument in the
zenity program, or the default setting should be change

Ubucleaner is a simplistic, non-user-friendly shell script that runs
some simple apt commands and deletes trash folders with no user
interaction. It runs three fixed aptitude commands and removes some
folders - and that's it.

when opening any file in gedit the cpu usage jumps to nearly 100% and
takes a few seconds to start. after the file has opened the CPU usage
drops to normal...

It seems that mail-notification doesn't show mails as new when they are marked
as [SPAM] by the server.
Most of these messages are not spam tho (at least here) so mail-notification
wont notify me, can i disable this behavior, i want to get notifies for every
mail please.

Previous versions of KDE (Gutsy and Hardy) had my LDAP contacts working
fine. I just did a fresh install of Intrepid, and reading from LDAP

Shirsh, that doesn't quite work for me. A few commands there are invalid and
don't work.
But, the good news is that I did get it working this way:
cd /var/lib/boinc-client/
sudo mv ca-bundle.crt ca-bundle.crt.old
sudo wget

It amazes me the duplicative and competitive projects that occur in the FOSS
community.
A prime example is the gnome nm applet and wicd. Another is ubuntu-eee and
eeebuntu.
Again another is this Cruft remover and Ubucleaner. The author of Ubucleaner

No, it does not. In my case (and the original reporters) the webcam
does not work in any application. It is not a cheese specific problem.

needs to be re-paired before the logitech Dinovo Keyboard will function.
In Hardy, once the keyboard was paired with the system it would function
immediately on boot.
