I've experienced a similar problem. All my navigation buttons were
greyed out and it seemed as if all my settings weren't being loaded. I
would get a blank page upon load. Turns out some of my files in my
.mozilla directory were owned by root. I solved it with a quick "sudo
chown -R user:user ~/.mo
Changing the amount of available RAM from 256Mb to 1024Mb does not seem
to have any effects.

I've hit the same problem on a 300 MHz Clamshell G3 iBook with a fresh
install of Kubuntu. See attached log.

I have had the same issue for months and do not have keytouch installed.
The problem is not due to Intel drivers as I am experiencing it using
nvidia.
A work around seems to be to turn compiz off by running 'metacity
--replace &'
The interesting thing is that I do not get this problem every time
Sadly, several people have had my problem and the offivial nVidia line
seems to be that what we're trying to achieve is not officially
supported. Shame. Thanks for your help, though, Alberto.

As Matt says, the documentation indicates that it is used with the
"unmet" command, not "depends"
But it was easy to implement and wont cause any obvious grief. Here is
the patch to make it happen. :)
