I fixed update-manger package later and did an update again and it is
alright now. However, the install process was not smooth. Update of
update-manager failed during the update process.

partitions show up on the desktop when I first log into my computer, but
they disappear (seemingly) randomly. When they do disappear, they don't
show up in mount, either.

I installed kde4 on Kubuntu Hatdy, but kde4 desktop doesn't start, I
only get the kde4 splash screen with services loading and icones
flashing up to the last big icone K and then nothing else.

When using Gnome-Art, the "Close" button does not function after opening

but nothing happens when pressed. Using the icon in the upper-right
does work.

The ~3 packages seem to work for me (amd64). g-p-m provides a
(seemingly) accurate power history graph, the battery charge % is
correctly reported, and it notices when I change from battery to AC and
back again.

In mountconfig/fuser.py it imports kdedesigner, but never uses it. As a
result, if pyqtconfig is not available, it will crash. To work around
this problem, Kubuntu moved pyqtconfig from python-qt-dev to python-qt3.

I think this is confirmed. I'm trying the same thing on an assembled
