My workarond is as follows:
When the color lines shows up I end mythtv, start vlc and opens and play a dvd
directory.

Hey Guys,
I've been having a problem with the Hue and contrast being way of on Ubuntu.
After performing a basic Study and repeating the process several times, I have
found out what has been causing the problem on several of my computers.
Video Players: VLC, Totem, etc.

You can add SKIP_CHECKS=yes to ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager
(by running "echo SKIP_CHECKS=yes >> ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager" at a

I try to desactivate/ change the options concerning focus (especially

I tried to remove all my rhythmbox prefs by deleting everything that showed up
with this command :
find . -name "*rhythmbox*"
But my plugin preferences were still saved, and Jamendo still didn't
work.

Pedro, not to start a flame war but what justification do you have
saying developers do not care about consistency? All projects contain
issues of differing priorities. If you have a particular consistency
issue please open bugs against all the products that are inconsistent

I used System->Administration->Users and Groups (from the gnome Ubuntu
toolbar) to add a user. It overwrote my /etc/group file, which I had to
replace from the rescue disk to get anything to work. In the attached
file, the last group
this is the file that users-admin replaced /etc/group with
