I have figured it out! Your colleague (Robert?) asked if I was using the
Australian Language Pack. I presumed I was, but went to check in
Preferences.
If you look at the main tab under Home Page, if you only have one page open

This bug still happens, but is not "reproducible" in the classic sense. It

I had the same issue after downloading a lot(lot!) of songs one night.
Deleting all the *.db files in my ~/.nicotine/ dir did the trick. Just
remember to always back stuff up just in case! And of course this
doesn't solve the main problem at hand but it's just a quick fix.

Seems like no swap is getting used. Do you have a swap partition in your system
? If yes, could you give us the output of the command 'fdisk -l' ? And if
you don't have a swap, making a swap partition should solve the issue.
