The LG L1740PQ monitor (17" LCD, 1280x1024) is not identified (Ubuntu
configures it as "Generic Monitor") and defaults it to a non-native
resolution of 1024x768. Videocard is a nVidia GeForce 7300LE made by

Should be fixed in kdebase and system settings.
Previously we used a hardcoded menu name kde-applications.menu. Now we use the
new XDG prefix of kde for applications.menu but that prefix seems not to be
used for the merge directories so move files back to
/etc/xdg/menus/application-merged

This is still a problem in Feisty, but has been fixed in the Debian
installer. I was just able to create RAID volumes using the Debian net
install CD, but can't with any of the Feisty install CDs--desktop,
server, or alternate.
