So, just delete that file and reinstall wifi-radar. 'Empty conf file' is
already reported as a bug, so it's a known problem. During upgrade, conf
file will not get overwritten.

Unmounting via gnome-mount --unmount -d /dev/hda works just as well.
I never had problems unmounting the DVD. I ran the following: "while

I have the same problem as well with a DLINK wireless card that uses the
rt61 driver. I have temporarily switched to using the windows driver
supplied with the card with ndiswrapper. This works fine (no lock ups).

Thanks for the encouragement. I have felt that I am close to being
where I need to be.
I think I know the problem. I think the problem is with saving
information that I have updated in Linux System Rescue CD. I have been
giving the following command: Shutdown -r now

of Canonical developers using python? Do they just not use emacs or pdb
to debug their code?

Above use case is not too exaggerated.
On top of the described actual behavior, it happens sometimes that a
certain click activates some other programs. Sometimes, when hasty, you
click on another program, however, it is still processing the first,
which means now you have *disabled* that program.
