I just read that there is a workaround for this issue: increasing the
panel size from 24 pixel to 26 pixel.

I'm running Dapper with kernel version 2.6.5-23-686 on an HP Pavillion
dv8000 and an Intel pro/wireless 3945abg. I'm getting the same problem,
except it's only running one of my cores at 100% (also a core duo). The
problem doesn't seem to happen unless I use the hardware toggle switch
to disable
Today (Jul 4th), I found out that totem(-xine) crashed. I did scaled
down the png file from 1280 to 1024. It worked. For pete's sake, the fix
is very much needed to kill this bug.

field/column selector (tooltip being "click to select columns for

I've found a solution that seems to be quite similar to the one
submitted by John Cooper but which relies on other commands to stop
network-manager at suspend (hibernate) time and to start it at resume
time in order to have the connection reactivated.

Can it be confirmed if this bug is still being worked on? I have seen
the "Fix released" but I am still having the exact problem with my
Dapper 6.06 install. It occured when I did my distro update from 5.10
and I have tried a complete default install as well as adding the
printer from our NT domain
For me switching the two filesystem type didn't do the job (udf worked, but
iso9660 no more).
If you have the same problem, try using "auto" instead of "iso9660,udf", that
worked for me.

This may be the same problem I encountered with kubuntu 6.06.
I was getting the message "pppd died The remote system is required to
authenticate itself" when kppp was run from a terminal.
I read the kppp help and I found a section where they suggests to edit the
/etc/ppp/options file or to simpl
matrixview, when running under gnome-screensaver has a size of 13Meg
when running under xscreensaver-demo, the size is 30meg
