I'm really glad to see something like this.
Maybe a real collaboration can begin between all these groups.I do agree with

just for the record... I looked into the pyTelemeter thingie. It doesn't
work anymore and is no longer maintained. (it worked on the old
Telemeter, but the new one has a new interface and/or constellation)
