I am having a few issues with Lucid.
1) Every time I login to my user account, I have to right click on the
network panel, enable mobile broadband and try at least 2-3 times before I
can connect to GP with the old version of GP modem. Once connected, I can
later disconnect and re
Install usb-modeswitch. I hope it will do almost everything. Unplug the
modem and re-connect it. Hope it will solve your problem.

I haven't tried with Lucid yet. And dont have time either as my current OS
is Mac.
But from my experience with Hardy, Intrepid, Jaunty and Karmic. I've found
Kermic to be of this problem a lot.
I'm talking about the modem problem of course.
The solution is using wvdial and with the same configur

stop your help. There might be others who can take a different

Frontend এ SCIM লোড হচ্ছিল না।
যা যা করা হয়েছে:
১. sudo gedit /etc/X11/Xsession.d/74custom-scim_startup
২.Code addition:
export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
export GTK_IM_MODULE="scim"
export XIM_PROGRAM="scim -d"
export QT_IM_MODU
বাংলা লেখার জন্য অভ্র লিনাক্সে ইউজ করলে একটু আকটু সমস্যা হতে পারে।
কারণ বেশিদিন হয় নি লিনাক্সে অভ্রর সাপোর্ট এসছে।
ফুল ফ্লেক্সিবল সাপোর্ট দিতে একটু কষ্ট হবে বৈকি অভ্র টিমের।
যদিও এটা সমস্যার সমাধান না। কিন্তু আমি সাজেস্ট করি প্রভাত ইউজ করতে।
