Maybe key3.db or somthing. But as he said backup ur profile delete the
main then copy bookmark extensions folder from backup.

@darklord: I dont think thats what had happened to him. Deleting profile,
one might lose important data. So, thats the last thing I'm gonna try o

you can use Xmarks plugin to backup your passwords and bookmarks. I use it
for share my bookmarks with other Systems .. if you have your own server you
can use that server too.

I asked him to delete ./mozilla folder as a last resort (if the problem
continues) not as the first step..
first step is just to kill the process and restart the app that's all.
